In the heart of Tuscany, Matthew and Brittany chose the captivating Poppi Castle in the province of Arezzo as the venue to celebrate their wedding. Poppi Castle overlooks a beautiful valley where, in 1289, Florence and Arezzo clashed in battle: the famous Battle of Campaldino. Won by the Florentines, this battle marked Florence’s political supremacy in Tuscany. This atmosphere steeped in history added a touch of magic to their special day. After the ceremony, the reception took place at the charming farmhouse La Vecchia Quercia, nestled in the Tuscan countryside.
The wedding was a perfect blend of country and Italian style. Every moment, from the ceremony in the castle hall to the lively reception in the estate’s garden, was captured with enthusiasm. The video told Matthew and Brittany’s story in an emotional way, reflecting the depth of their love through smiles, hugs, and moments of pure joy. Every detail, from the beauty of the Tuscan landscapes to the authenticity of Italian hospitality, contributed to creating an unforgettable experience. Our task as wedding videographers is to create tangible memories of a special day experienced in our beautiful Italy, where beauty, history, good food, and hospitality are indispensable.
